Thought Provoking, Comprehensive and Downright Practical

I found "Is God a Chauvinist" by Elreta Dodds to be one of the most thought provoking, comprehensive and downright practical books on women I have ever read. Anyone who is in a position of leadership within Christian ministry needs to own a copy of this book. Dodds does not shy away from either giving advice or stepping on toes. In addition, she covers topics I have never seen addressed in any Christian publication, such as name changes in marriage, polygamy, rape, and sexual abuse in marriage. Talk about where angels fear to tread! Every woman needs a copy of this book. Woman Submit! Christians & Domestic Violence

Ms. Dodds carefully crafts a very informative, readable text that thoroughly examines and gives answers to the myriad of emotional, social, cultural, physical, and religious issues that face both Christian and non-Christian women today. By fearlessly tackling tough issues such as domestic violence, sexuality, standards of beauty, female church leadership, and wifely submission, Ms. Dodds clearly demonstrates her keen insight and biblical scholarship concerning the true position in which God holds women - in His heart and in His plan.
