I knew it would be small, but a fair portion of the pages are taken up by Celtic knots and doodles dividing the text, the font of which is already somewhat large. Some of the words are of Slavic origin rather than Irish. If you are looking to seriously study the Irish language, this book alone will not come anywhere close to sufficing, but it has some interesting facts about Irish history speckled in there and a pronunciation guide. This book would be good for tourists or people looking to just dip their toes into the language.

I have looked at several Irish/English-English/Irish dictionaries and this is one that actually has a guide in the middle of the book that explains how things are pronounced in accordance with the groupings of consonants. Other more expensive dictionaries in this language do not have this. I ordered two of them.
