Stunning reproduction of semi-botanical studies

This book represents a lovely combination of watercolor sketches/studies with essays on both the flowers and the art of painting.The sketches have some of the detail one expects in botanical studies and yet the freedom and delight of artistic license. Both a wonderful book for the senses and the student.
