Book of Gold

As the title indicates, this book is about safe investing while receiving good returns. I'm convinced if I had followed the advice of this book 10 years ago I'd be a wealthy person now. Not only would my investments be safe, I would have received excellent returns with low risk. The information in this book is still relevant, although the investment world has change dramatically since its printing. I would love to see Mr. Joehnk do an updated reprint to include new investment practices such as investing direct and online investing. The book itself is devoid of typographical errors, has a helpful index, and is not cumbersome because of unnecessary filler. It is organized into easy to follow sections. A person new to investing would be able to read this book, but someone with a little investment knowledge would enjoy it more. There are a few technical parts which would keep the knowledgeable investor interested. My only complaint is a couple of times the author made a statement that left me asking "why" or "how." The author is unpretentious and has a friendly style. I'm glad I discovered this book and plan to put much of its information into practice.
