This volume of InuYasha happens to be one of my favorites for a few reasons. The first one is because there is so much drama between InuYasha, Kikyo, and Kagome. When Kagome discovers that InuYasha has been talking with Kikyo, she feels betrayed and runs home, leaving Kikyo and InuYasha to reveal a startling discovery about Naraku and Onigumo. Next, with much emotion, Kagome considers leaving InuYasha forever, but finds that she had fallen farther in love with him than she had realized. She couldn't stand being away from him even for a short time, and decided to go back. Kagome spoke beautifully about how, though she could never sever the bond between InuYasha and Kikyo, she still longed to be by his side. For these reasons, I consider this to be one of the best volumes in the InuYasha mangas.
