Fantastic learning or review tool

I haven't taken Math in 8 years and was never very good at it even back then. I am going to be taking post-bac premed classes this fall and used this book to refresh (and improve) my knowledge of Math. The books in this series explain concepts well and have lots of exercises with answers and step-by-step solutions as well as tests at the end of each chapter. I thoroughly recommend this book and the others in the series. I worked through all of them from pre-algebra through calculus. However, there is no need to buy the pre-algebra book and this one as pre-algebra is covered adequately in the first few chapters of this book.

Fantastic Supplement Source for College Algebra

The Textbook assigned for my college Algebra class does not explain how to solve the problems assigned. It has been almost 20 years since I have picked up a math book or worked on Algebra problems. This book is great! It is fairly easy to read and has an alphabetized index to quickly & easily assist in locating the information needed to complete my assignments to MY understanding. I highly recommend this book as a Supplement tool to utilize for College Algebra.
