Intro for laypersons

This book was used in the author's nationally acclaimed TV courses. These broadcasts were the first fully accredited courses in religion made available over commercial TV facilities. The book is not limited to use in the course, however, but stands alone as a valuable text for individual study. Bauman stresses the unity of theme that binds all NT books together -- all the NT writers were "afire with Christ" and wanted to let the world know what had happened in him. Bauman also intentionally writes for laypersons, not scholars, and so he expresses himself simply and clearly without a lot of unnecessary details or technical language.
