Kendra's adult life didn't turn out too bad after all, considering her unique childhood challenges. She, not only was forced to grow up in a home of a blended family with all of it's many undesirable issues, but she had to also grow up quickly the night she faced the life-long emotional scar of becoming a rape victim. Sixteen years later, after giving birth to her beautiful daughter, Kendra finds herself more than grateful for her decision to bare and raise Alana, despite the devastating night of the assault that happened during the time that she was conceived. The truth of who Alana's real father is a secret and Kendra would like to keep it that way. It is no question that Kendra is holding onto more than just the truth of her child's paternity. Something else from her past is enabling her from living an honest, care-free life with her husband and family and for the longest times she's had no one to talk to about her past...until the day she meets Maribel. Maribel opened her arms, her doors, and her heart to receive Kendra into her life just when Kendra needed someone she could trust and someone who might help her make sense of her mysterious past. Little does either of them know, this new friendship of theirs would be the beginning and the end of a new chapter within both of their intertwined lives. But they soon discover, meeting each other was no accident. Their connection to each other ran deeper than they'd ever imagined and as a result of it, their lives have become even more complicated than before. Magic: The Gathering: Tapestries

This was a great book. Some of the stories had no resolution, or no point. Inheritance, in particular, ended with a dream rather than conflict resolution. That was really the only stinker, though. A story that would fit well in a collection of Fairy Tales was 'Brass Man That Would Sink' (my favorite of all the tales in the book). Some of the stories were too short (The Light in the Forest), but still managed to deliver...

This is a very good book. Amazing stories that intrigue your imagination. I recomend this book anyone thats played and likes the game.

Alot of stories that are wildly imaginative and compelling that detail the exploits and adventures of human, dwarf, elf and the like. I would recommend this to every Magic the Gathering fanatic that love anthologies.

Tapestries is a wonderful book with many stories having to do with the vast world of Dominia, and the many species and cultures it contains. You will recognize many of the characters from Magic, The Gathering in the stories
