A Bridge Between Protestant & Catholic Beliefs and Practices

Gonzalez & Perez accomplish great clarity of the Christian faith without sacrificing protestant and/or Catholic beliefs or traditions! Their writing is rich with both biblical and church history without being laborious. They are succinct while yet presenting a depth of thought particularly as it comes to the explanatory chapter about sacraments in general, Communion and Baptism specifically. With 2 degrees in theology and having taught Christian theology for a couple of semesters now, I have not found a better written text that sets forth such diversity of thought along with the core beliefs of the Christian church. For one's personal, spiritual journey or for a class on the subject, I highly recommend this book!
