Very Introductory, Augments the Users Manual Well

I found this book geared to the beginning user of Mathcad or computer aided mathematics. Though it is abit more introductory then I was hoping for, I enjoyed the broad range of problems that are presented. I think this book is a good addition to the Mathcad users manual because it helps to collect and focus the great functionality and usability of the Mathcad software on a broad range of engineering problems.

Acclaim for Mr. Larsen's "Mathcad 11"

This book far exceeded my expectations. I have used Mathcad for several years, but only its most basic features. I always wanted to learn more but never found the time to struggle through the HELP section trying to teach myself about its higher level capabilities. I wanted a book that would provide me a simple sequence of learning lessons from the beginning through higher level capabilities. However, I feared getting something either way too complicated (I am an engineer--not a mathematician), or something too trivial to teach me what I wanted to know. Also, many people who are good at doing something teach it poorly. Mr. Larsen not only KNOWS how to use Mathcad--he is a WONDERFUL teacher of its use! I could not practice engineering without the help of Matchcad, but I could not use more than a fraction of Mathcad's capabilities without Mr. Larsen's lessons. It is a bargain at $32. If you are an engineer who uses math, invest in Mathcad software. If you have Mathcad 11 software I recomend that you own this book to get your money's worth from this expensive software!
