Too complicated to get into

There were way too many characters to keep track of. I was very disappointed in this book.

excellent condition

The book arrived in perfect conditions, like new. I loved her previous work , the girl on the train , and I enjoy complex stories, so hopefully this one is too as well

Not my favorite

Very slow. Too many characters that the chapters bounce between. Couldn't really get into it and almost had to force myself to finish.

A great psychological component

I was finally able to sit down and read this book. At first I did not like the writing style, yet it grew on me. It came off rather depressing, but by the time I got through a quarter of the book I couldn't put it down! It's got a great psychological component to it that makes me want to see in it theaters! There is a movie out based on this book, but honestly, the trailers don't do the book justice.

Into the water wàs an interesting read.

It is a page turner because the reader is unsure of who committed the crime till the last page. A lot of twists and turns in the plot.

Too many POV

Way too many characters to keep track of and not that interesting. Probably won’t finish it.

Good Read

Enjoyed this nook very much.

Lying about the condition

I order this book in like new condition but it’s condition was horrible.😭

Takes a bit to get into, and then I couldn't put it down

The book definitely takes a while to get moving, there is a LOT of exposition and set up, but once it did, I couldn't put the book down. I was reading it on my breaks at work, and then when I left work I actually read it in my car lol. The twist at the end tho, DANG. I wanted to throw the book right through the wall. Definitely recommend, but expect that twist right on the very last page.

Skip it

There are waaayyyyy too many characters to keep track of so it was difficult to really connect with anyone. I had to keep going back to the beginning to the “People of Beckford” to see who I was reading about. Each chapter goes back and forth between the many, many characters and the story is also switched up between first and third person, depending on the character. That was just irritating. The story is very dull, boring, and way too long. Nothing significant happens in the first half of the book. There’s a lot of repeating of events. There’s no real climax or thrilling reveal and it was confusing to try to keep track of all of the characters, as well as the constant switching between first and third person. Skip it.

Well written and seamless!

If you enjoy a solid thriller with excellent character development and well timed plot twists then this book will appeal to you! I really enjoyed the whole ride. I liked it better than "Girl on a Train" and that was an excellent read as well!

Decent Story

This one was hard to get into, but it was an interesting read.

Interesting

Kind of strange, but not in a bad way. Kept me guessing and interested in the story. Parts of it were a but weird, but it didn't really detract much from the story.

Fantastic! Couldn’t put it down

An all time favorite of mine! It’s so good and definitely one you need to pay attention to but it will be worth it!

~Too Confusing

Each chapter goes back and forth with far too many characters involved in a confusing story-line.. i purchased this book because i enjoyed The Girl on the Train, and thus trusted that the author would give me another good book to enjoy. However, i cannot get thru this book/story and I recommend that you skip this one.

Love!!!

You definitely are going to want to take notes when reading this book. Each chapter is written by a different character so you get multiple stories and points of view. I absolutely loved this book. It kept me intrigued from start to finish. There were times where I couldn't put it down because it was just that good. Paula Hawkins does a great job at keeping a reader hooked on a story. I'm still thinking about this book after finishing it and going on to read other books. Great piece!

Loved

I absolutely loved this book!!

Very good!

I read Her first book, loved it. This one I had heard wasn't so good, but I liked it alot. Each chapter was about a different character and there was about 10 . Kept my interest the whole time.

Doesn’t compare to The Girl on the Train

It wasn’t the worst read, but it wasn’t near as exciting as TGOTT. The book alternates between multiple characters, it’s sometimes hard to follow who’s who and who did what. The pace in this book is much slower and was mildly suspenseful.

Dark and twisty

I didn't get the chance to read The Girl on the Train so I snagged this one as soon as I saw it. I was not disappointed. I'll be eagerly waiting for her next one.
