Great book! not great formatting.

This is a great book, I have read a few books on this subject and this is from the better ones. He gives a lot of practical advice, that may help you become a better speaker/presenter. It could be that I had an older version of the book, but the copy that I had made me a little dizzy. Some of the fonts are annoying to read etc... but it also could just be that since I work in book layout, I may be more picky. Definitely would suggest buying this book for anyone looking to polish their skills.

Best presentation book I've read!

Jerry presents usable ideas in a clear writing style. His methods force you to discover your target and keep you on-message from the introduction to the final summary and close. His Business Entertainment section is worth the price of the book. A must read for *any* presenter, pro or one-timer.

DEFINITELY improved my seminar delivery skills

This book delivers far more than I thought it would when I first purchased it. My openings have gotten a thousand times better. I've learned how to keep the audiences attention - especially during my longer (2+ hours) seminars. And there's a better flow between changes in topics.I still pull this book out before all of my major presentations just to make sure I'm still on point. Whether you're a beginner or a professional speaker, I think you'll get a lot of value in this book, not found elsewhere.

If you need to improve, you need this book

Not only is this a great book for professionals who do a lot of public speaking, but it is also great for those of us who only rarely have the opportunity to speak or give presentations. The level of nervousness is much higher for those who do not consistently practice speaking, so they need a lot of practical advice that they can put into practice immediately, and they also need only that advice that has already been proven to work well. This book provides both. I discovered this book before my last presentation and my delivery was immediately improved by using the practical tips Mr. jeary provided in the book. If you need to improve and you need it in a hurry, you need this book.

It is a well organized tool chest of presentation skills.

This book is very well organized and is full of great ideas to improve your presentations. Good for the beginner or the professional.
