Increiblemente sencillo a la hora de estudiarlo

Este libro presenta un metodo de enseñanza increiblemente práctico y sencillo, el cual hace que sea sumamente útil para aquellos que si bien teniamos nociones no tan básicas de photoshop no teniamos claro el uso de todas las herramientas y su forma de interactuar entre ellas a la hora de facilitar el trabajo. Incluye interesantes observaciones sobre como trabajar las imagenes según sea internet o imprenta.Lo único bajo del libro es el trabajo de imagenes para internet (lease imageReady) en el cual los autores se cayeron gráficamente hablando pues presentan gráficas y páginas casi infantiles y en deshuso.

Good Book for rookies

Excelent book, if you are about to start using Adobe Photoshop you must have these book, it explains what you need to know to use the best program out there....... photoshop is not for Expert users, if you are an expert or if you know every basic use of these program, then you have to move to something more advanced...

All is explained in Inside Adobe Photoshop 5.5 Why you use a tool or operation (brush, rubbber stamp, editing layer...) opposed to another, or, what something is, are answered clearly. You know you are reading a book written by experienced, seasoned, graphic designers with a thourough knowledge of Photoshop. I am at page 300 and look forward to the next 500 pages. Adobe photoshop is a complex, (some parts complicated) extensive program. Inside Adobe Photoshop 5.5 teaches you how to use it. This is what a good book should do... and it does! If you only want one book, buy this. If you would like to have a few books,(it never hurts) make this one of them.

Bouton does it again.

I have purchased Gary and Barbara Bouton's Photoshop books and I must say he always does a good job.Bouton starts with a fairly comprehensive introduction to computer graphics, that is appropriate for both beginners and advanced users alike. Bouton uses challenging and practical exercises that combine the various features of Photoshop, making learning much faster. The CD is treasure trove in itself-- to jumpstart the novice web developer, Bouton included clip art graphics and backgrounds.This book is a must-have for Photoshop users.

Best Photoshop book around

I learned about the "Inside Photoshop" books at a web seminar that I went to a few months ago, and almost bought the 5.0 version of the book, even though I had Photoshop 5.5. After I did a little research, I learned the 5.5 version of the book was coming out soon, and I immediately ordered it. I looked at quite a few Photoshop books during my research, and this is, without question, the winner. This book is not only an excellent learning resource for beginners, it's a great reference book for advanced users. Almost every aspect of Photoshop is covered, with plently of examples and graphics included. You'll keep this one close at hand.
