Remarkable discussion on how personality is clearly related to organic brain structure.

This is an awesome book if you don't mind the scientific tone. You will never view the human condition the same way if you read this book...everything from quirks of personality to the use of articles and adjectives in speech can be shown to originate in your brain in very particular places. The YOU that you are is the amalgamation of all the various subtlties of structure and connection in your brain. YOU are not some magical entity, the product of a soul. YOU are organic, just like your leg. It's fascinating all the things that happen to people when they get injured: not being able to use adjectives anymore, not knowing their own arm belongs to them, not being able to recognize humor...the list just goes on and on. Remember Phineas (sp) Gauge, the railroad bar through the head? Well, this book takes it from there with dozens and dozens of other examples. Truly enlightening!!!
