As Perry tries to get through the Challenges and make any sense of a reality he never fully comes to accept, he discovers knowledge which, inexplicably, suggests that his mother might actually still be alive, and that his father's rantings may have been the truth all along.Pendant is written with a Young Adult vibe but with a complex story to be enjoyed by those seeking a more mature read. Action, fantasy, mystery, angst, and light romance are evened out by a main character rooted in the real world who wonders just as much as the reader how this could possibly be happening. This is the first book in a planned series.
