I found this book at a second-hand store for 50 cents. It was an old library book. It is written by award-winning poet Aileen Fisher. The book is about a girl who wants to know what it is like to go out in the middle of the night. Her father takes her out at night as her birthday gift. They see all kinds of night things; moths, a mouse, a frog, an owl, stars, and even a skunk. This book is fun to read with it's rhythmic rhyme and is educational. Not your ordinary children's book. My two and a half year old son loves it, and so do I. Would be extra special for a dad to read to his daughter.
