Eleven-year-old Tuffy and her friends make a voodoo doll at summer camp and use it to put a spell on the Head Counselor. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I loved this book as a kid and am now excited to have my 8-yr-old daughter read it. It takes place at a summer camp and I think kids who are getting ready to head off to camp, or who have recently returned, would get a kick out of this, although I suspect it might seem dated to them. Not great literature, but a fun book. I'm not sure it could stand up to the Judy Blume comparison, but I loved Blume as a kid & read many of hers over & over, just as I did this one.
Great Pre-Teen Reading

I first read In The Summertime, It's Tuffy when I was in the 5th or 6th grade. It was a terrific book for that age and I remember it fondly. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a "Judy Blume" type read.
