I am really grateful for this book. I have to limit my reading to two stories per day (which is easy, thanks to its bite-sized format) because of my work and family schedule. I work for United Cerebral Palsy, and every day am fortunate to work alongside parents who will not take "no" for an answer to their child's future. They and their children work so hard to do what we take for granted: crawling, chewing, walking. These stories gave me strength to keep going, and faith that tiny acts of caring, kindness, and love are what life is all about. My husband and I are blessed to share seven grown children. Every day at least one of them calls and needs a kind word or hope for the future. Recently, I've often been talking to them about the "story of the day" that I've just read. Thank you for this book.
