Interesting but not what I was hoping

I guess I put too much thought into the title of the book, because it wasn't really what I expected. It DID contain interesting information on noise, but I was expecting (maybe more so hoping) that this book would somehow wrap up all the facts about sound to then give perspective on how to find more personal quiet in a world that grows louder by the year. But it was less about "self-help" or personal betterment and more about just facts, studies, perspectives on sound, etc.
