In Praise of Sailors

I found this book on a trip to New England, and wanted more to give as gifts. I especially enjoyed images of real art work by listed artists accompianed by prose and poetry. I love to just pick it up and open it at random. Every page is filled with a story or a poem that gives the reader a window into the life of a sailor, a time gone by, or a place where I might want to go. The artwork is priceless because each piece is drawn from some wonderful collection that might not ever have been shared unless someone wrote this book. If you love the sea, short stories, and artwork, you'll love this book. Thank you Herbert Warren! Thank you to each artist.
