The best memoir I've ever read.

To be fair, I don't read many memoirs, but I have really enjoyed everyone that I have read. Of all of them, this one is the best. I have become a huge fan of her ever since.

A study in Courage, Tenacity and love for freedom

I was curious as to what this book was about because I am a fan of Yeomi Park and a subscriber to her YouTube channel. I've heard her speak at length regarding the cost of freedom. This book, in her own words, explains what it means to live under a dictator and oppression. Until the very end of the book I was very sad about what she and her mother and her family had to endure & live with in her very long journey to freedom. Her courage and strength defy any explanation other than she is an example that freedom it's not free!
