Improving TV Signal Reception: Mastering Antennas and Satellite Dishes [May 01, 1988] Glass, Dick This description may be from another edition of this product.
Half of this book is devoted to C-band (big dish) satellite reception, in which I have very little interest. The other half details television reception theory and practical applications of that theory for the layman. Contains very useful info on signal splitters, how they affect signal levels both as splitters or when used in reverse as antenna signal combiners, and when and why splitters can't be used. It also has good info on antenna preamplifiers and difficult reception problems and how to solve them.
