A tense, finely tuned, roller-coaster of a courtroom drama

Courtrooms where men and women judge and are judged is a perennial source of dramatic storytelling whether the format be novels, movies, or television shows. Few authors have the skills to bring courtroom dramas fully to life, but trial attorney and author Cody Fowler Davis in his courtroom thriller "Implied Consent" is clearly one of those gifted writers with a true and telling touch for storytelling. Aderson Parker is a good natured attorney who is in a legal struggle with Justin Cartwright III, an unscrupulous rival attorney. The courtroom confrontation is complicated by a young and lovely paralegal, as well as witnesses of dubious veracity. The result is a courtroom drama played out with deceits, double crosses, and looming disaster. "Implied Consent" is especially recommended to the attention of anyone who enjoys a tense, finely tuned, roller-coaster of a courtroom drama and a popular addition to community library fiction collections.

Awesome Reading!

Move over John Grisham! Mr. Davis's details of law firms and what happens in them was very scary,yet very compelling and appealing. The story line kept me reading and not wanting to stop until I was finished. And what an ending! I would highly reccommend this book on a sunny beach or rainy day. Please keep them coming Cody!

He's Done It Again!

Cody Fowler Davis has done it again! Once I began Implied Consent I couldn't put it down. And, just when I was figuring that I could write the last few chapters myself he threw in a curve that I never would have anticipated. (Hint to new readers: Don't cheat and read the last few pages first!) What a read! Mr. Davis is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

Fowler puts you in jury box

My son turned me on Cody Davis Fowler's books, first Green 61 and his new book Implied Consent. In the genera of John Gresham and Scott Turow court room dramas Fowler's latest book is a compelling page turner for a rainy weekend. I enjoyed his vivid character development mixed with a twisty story line that puts you in the jury box. I can't wait for his next book

What a follow up!

Absolutely amazing! I randomly found Cody Davis' first book Green 61 while vacationing in Boca Grand and loved it. Implied Consent went to places that equally amazed and concerned me! If Davis were not a lawyer I would be skeptical of his lead Anderson Parker but what drama. I could not put it down! My head is still spinning! If you are a parent this book will suck you in at the start and won't let you go. The first two cases dealt with "A Girls Gone Wild" situation, followed by an underage drinking situation. As a father of beautiful little girl, I have all the standard dad phobias about my daughter growing up and dating. Mr. Davis gave me some interesting thoughts to ponder. BRAVO!!
