Immigrants have no race

As immigrant myself, I enjoyed reading Mrs. Mayuga book. I also got an authographied copy. I loved the easy reading while interesting and sometimes poetic. She immigrated from the Philiphines, I came from Mexico, She was a proffessional, I was semi-professional who spend the first years working as labor force in the Washington State crops. Yet, there is a lot in common from the human perspective: the nostalgy for our life behind, the culture immersion challenges, the raising of a family in a different country, etc.
