A Seminal Work of Native American Studies

This book has been too long out of print and is indeed 'hard to find'. It is important because it addresses the Native American world-view with reference to their own texts, and it treats all kinds of media as 'text', i.e. not just alphabetical script but a wealth of alternative, non-linear modes of expression. The book is a true mind-opener and is the perfect introduction to the 'New World'. Good luck finding it
