Great to learn so much Japanese in a relatively short period of time.

I recently finished teaching my first year with this textbook and I was very pleased with the amount of Japanese my students were able to learn from it. Starting out with "what's your name?" , they were able to learn verbs and vocab to talk about their families, their routines, schools days, likes, hobbies, and even past tense, where they went, what they did, and what it was like. The pictures are very realistic and authentic and there is a nice cultural section at the end of each unit. I also recommend using the cd and the workbook for practice.
