the heart. It comes from a desire to serve, to delight, to ignite a fire within your audience that won't easily be quenched. That is James Lloyd's message, and he communicates it effectively with examples, captivating stories, thought-provoking quotes. Along the way he has also delivered a number of great tips that can easily be utilized by the beginning speaker (me) as well as the practiced expert. The book is easy to read (I finished it in less than three hours), but because it is easy, don't think it is fluffy. His methods are simple, and simply explained, but they are profound. They could change your life, as well as your speaking style. I have been privileged to hear James speak many times. I often asked myself just HOW he did that. HOW did he reel me into his world, his emotions, his POV, even when I tried to resist the urge with all my strength? Since I will soon need to muster my resources to inspire a group with a passion for customer service, this book seemed like a good place to start. I was right. It teaches more than speaking.
