This heartwarming tale makes everyone realize how special they really are. It is vintage Pevsner, with plenty of sharp dialogue, well-rounded characterizations, and a story that just flows along.... This description may be from another edition of this product.

Great!

I have read this book just a few hours ago. It was great. I can totally relate to Emma, in this book, because 1) I am the youngest of 7 children and 2)I am a quadruplet, (2 boys and 2 girls, with same sex being identical) and 3)I definitely want to be normal! This is sure to be a page turner. I loved it. It deals with situations that people would usually face in real life. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a fun book.

Ha-Ha!

Quints! First of all, quints are filve babies born together like twins but alot more. Just imagine five kids, the same or a little different. A big deal? Oh, yeah! Emma (a quint) has a problem. Her parents don't want their kids to be famous quints. Alice talks to a news reporter to get on T.V.! No one else wants to, except Beth.Well, she wants to be normal, her new boyfriend James finds out. He still liked her anyway. This book is a fiction book because this is a made-up and it's not normal to have quints like it's an everyday thing! I really enjoyed this book because it's awesome how their quints, and can be famous, but most of them don't want ot be. Emma, the main character, wants to be normal, which I like if I was a quint I would totally want ot be normal. I would recommend this book to probably middle schoolers or young adult, maybe even eighth graders since the quints are in eighth grade. I would also recommend this book to quints, since it's about quints. These people wkould enjoy this book becasue it has to do with a normal life problem, but in a different scenario. I could easily connect with Emma (main character) becasue she wants to be normal even though she's a quint. I could connect with her because I'm the oldest out of eight kids and that's a lot, so for me to be normal is also difficult. This book honestly was a page-turner because when I started reading I didn't stop, it was that awesome! this review should make you want ot read thsi extraordinary book, because of its totally awesome story!

Old Favorite

I first read this book when i was the same age as the protagonist, and it fascinated me. i'm an only child, and ms. pevsner waxes eloquent on the many trials and joys of being part of a set of five. going to seperate schools, never going out all together, teasing, media frenzies....and a special and unbreakable relationship with five people who you've been with since before you were born. a sweet book about first romance and finding out where you belong. also, Emma's best friend Gypsy and her batty-or should I say birdy-aunt are hilarious!
