Hilarious!

If you are questioning your ability to actually give birth, this book is for you. It is made up of different people telling their stories and anecdotes from when they experienced childbirth. Not only mothers, but fathers, nurses, doctors, doulas, midwives and family friends tell heartwarming stories of labor and delivery. Many of the stories are by celebrities or sports stars which made them all seem more relateable. This book is a wonderful companion to any 'serious' pregnancy book you are reading. Like the Girlfriend books, "I'll Never..." gives moms-to-be as well as dads-to-be a lighthearted look at an inevitable situation.

Loved It!!!!

I'm pregnant with my first child and I am terrified of giving birth. I saw this book and bought it and it has made me feel so much better!!! I loved all the stories and my husband has even read some of them and thought they were great!! I have told all my friends who are expecting to buy this book....I just can't say enough about how great it is!!!!

Finally, a HIP book on pregnancy.

A friend gave me this book at my baby shower. She read one story out loud and then everybody else chimed in with their own "tales from the delivery room." It's a hoot! The other "motherhood" books I got were all pretty sappy, but this one is a lot of fun (although there are a couple of stories that might put a lump in your throat).The celebrity stories are cool, too. It's nice to know that fame and fortune are no hedge against the insanity of labor.Bottom line: fun, entertaining antidote to morning sickness.
