Not only did I meet and speak with Dolly Mae in a presentation at the East West Bookshop where I listened to her speak about this book, but I have since purchased it and read it through. Dolly Mae is a practical, no-nonsense, down to earth person with a lovely sense of humor and great insight. This book was written after numerous requests for her to do so, and it is a precious, plain and simple guide to understanding the nuts and bolts of "Nameology". I appreciate that it is not over laden with excess verbage, but has been refined to it's most essential and useful information. This enables the reader to begin immediately to try the very simple guidelines for themself, and start their own path of discovery and learning. If one has a modest interest in the subject, they will be well rewarded for reading this book. However, if you have a deep interest in the subject, it's even better for it gives you a great beginning, and allows you to use other tools you may already have acquired by keeping it simple and not being overly formulated. Also, you can go to her website and get all of the worksheets prepared to help you interepret names in a simple and wonderful way! Thank you Dolly Mae for the lovely gift of this book - I've been waiting for it! Find out for yourself why Dolly Mae's book is so awesome!

I found this book to be an amazingly accurate tool, easy to read and understand. I now use my full name and not my nickname as it feels more balanced and open. My nickname never felt right and now I know why. She shows how to change a letter, or even change our name if we've outgrown it. I found the book fascinating, simple to use, and so very well written. I've used it to help my friends find names for their children. The workbook is great since I like to figure names out myself. I really like this book. Patricia, Seattle
