This is a must read book. Identity theft is such a present and continually growing problem that each person must now take affirmative action to protect their own identity. This book will give you the maximum information you need to properly understand the many varied aspects of Identity Theft (it's not just about credit cards and bank accounts). Furthermore , identity theft is such a difficult prevention problem, it is imperative that each of us know how to address matters when it does happens to us. This book will prepare you for what you need to do yesterday, today and tommorrow to protect your identity. Get and read this book!

Protect yourself...

Before I read this book I thought I was being cautious and protecting my finances and identity. Turns out I was gravely mistaken. This book has helped me make some simple life long changes that will save me from future pain and anguish. It's a quick read and the delivery of the content is very clear, well thought out and extremely applicable to everyone's life. This book was a real eye opener and I have sent a few copies to loved ones, I truly hope they read it.

Eye-Opener

This book is an eye-opener and should be read and re-read by everyone in this country who wants to know the truth about identity theft. It presents a complex problem in an understandable way and also gives solutions on how to sort through the mire of misleading information, many times given to us by the very institutions that are losing it! As scary as it is, I will now sleep better knowing the questions to ask of those who want or have my personal information and also the resources to have in place to best protect myself, my family, and my business. Thank you Mr. Gardner, Mr. McCartney, and Mr. Omtvedt!

Great Read.

The first part of the book quickly dispels the fact that Identity Theft is only a financial threat (your credit cards and bank accounts.) No, it is much, much more and the examples help clarify the scope of the issue. The second half focuses on specific industries, business owners and other situations that apply to the business world. It is apparent that the writers are "ahead of the curve" on this subject. In addition, it is apparent that this country has only scratched the surface on this issue and we should all be educated on this pending epidemic.

Easy reading with great insights!

This book is an easy, enjoyable read that clearly explains the growing threat of identity theft and what we can do as everyday people to protect ourselves. I'm looking forward to having it as a reference for future use, too!
