ICE is Super Cool

Edward Myers' young adult novel ICE manages to take something really serious--tragic, actually-- and make it entertaining and interesting. You learn from this novel, both about what it is like to be a member of an EMT emergency crew, and about how important it is to face up to your responsibility--even for something very serious. I can't recommend this too much.
