In this fantasy, Fury, the apparent protagonist has much in common with the Norse God Odin, with St. Nicholas and, of course, with the famous Santa Claus. His beloved steed Slippery greatly resembles Odin's eight-legged horse, the legendary Sleipnir (whose mother was Svadilfari, whose name means unlucky traveler). And Claw, the beast that accompanies St. Nicholas has some analogies with the famous Krampus.What happens to these characters in this story...
