One of the most incredible books for kids (and adults, too)

This is a "must have" for any child's library. A nice, big hardback with great illustrations. This book provides a wonderful means for opening up discussion with kids about dealing with "fear"...and may give you insights for your own benefit as well. Larry Libby is a wonderful writer; he writes in a way that rivets kids to his stories. I have loaned this book to friends whose kids needed some help overcoming anxiety, fear and nervousness. They have all been thrilled with their experience with the book.

This is a book that children will ask for again and again!

I read to children at school; and this is by far their favorite book! Children love the stories written by Larry Libby, because they can put them- selves right in the story. They also love the author's ability to tell the stories as if each child was right there at that moment. Most importantly, using these wonderful stories is a most precious and perfect way to help children understand all about what God's word has to say about being afraid; a topic children think about alot but talk about little. This book gives an excellent opportunity for children to freely talk about "this business of being afraid". Children will love this book and ask for these stories over and over. These stories do well being read aloud to children and they will enjoy telling their stories of being afraid and how God helped them. A wonderful teaching tool on the topic of fear and why God gives us this emotion. I look forward to Mr. Libby writing another book along these same lines very soon - maybe on another emotion that God gives us; using the same format, for children.
