Turning your back on love is not always an easy thing. But how do you know it's really love when so many people are too busy playing games? How can you tell who's into you for love or just for fun? Mahogany thought she had it all figured out. Being educated and a business owner meant she could tell the players from the real lovers, right? Distancing herself from an unfaithful ex and succumbing to erotic dreams only left her vulnerable when meeting attractive, suave Forrest. However, their meeting was just the beginning of their problems, together and apart. Through the girlfriends, accusations, heart games, backstabbing friends, bad marriages, pregnancies, and more, Mahogany and Forrest chase each other... ...And continue to miss. The plights of Mahogany and Forrest presented in this delightfully astounding romantic comedy by d. E. Rogers give new meaning to the exclamation, "I know she didn't!" The story line is fun with a wonderful combination of suspense, drama, romance, and a taste of eroticism. The plots, schemes, and activities of ALL the women in the novel left my jaw hanging quite a few times, all the way to the very end. Even the secondary story lines are intriguing. Rogers' narrative voice moves the story along at a pleasant pace, never allowing for a dull moment. His superb creation of multi-dimensional characters place this literary find above many others residing on the shelf of contemporary romantic fiction. Aside from some grammatical errors and occasional stutters in the presentation of the story, I found I KNOW SHE DIDN'T to be quite an enjoyable novel.
