Duke: 303 Reasons Why You Should Too

After conquering the collegiate scene, the I Hate series branched out into all those everyday nuisances you love to hate. Writer and columnist Susan Murphy crystallizes our worst pet peeves and renders them laughable in this lighthearted new twist on the I Hate collegiate sports books by Paul Finebaum that have achieved bestselling status nationwide. quite hilarious

Yes, I am one of the many who would like nothing better than to punch most Duke graduates in the face. This book allow me to do something even better - laugh in their faces. And to the... who commented that "no Duke alum would make grammatical errors", just because someone went to a school Duke doesn't automatically mean that they can write well (witnessing first-hand one of my colleagues who went to Harvard and can't spell to save his life...)

Hilarious, never read anything better

First of all kudos to the author. The research and leg work that was done for this novel was well worth the time. I went to Duke for 7 years, and I gotta tell you, i felt all 303 items. I later transferred to Coppin State in Baltimore and actually made worse grades. Thats life I guess. Once again kudos.

BRAVO! PURE GENIUS

As I gaze out of the window nearest my small secluded cubicle on the 17th floor, I begin to chuckle to myself as reason #166 of, "I hate Duke..". dances across my mind. "That sure is true Mr. Finebaum," I catch myself whispering out loud, "I truly resemble that remark." Boy were my days as a Blue Devil full of little more than pure boredom. I envy the truly "smart" people who spent their time at Duke: Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, and William Avery. I wish I had left early as well. Thank you Mr. Finebaum, thank you so much. This can finally help bridge the gap I have to being at peace with my inner self. I, like the rest of the student body at Duke, are continually striving to succumb to the nagging pain of not getting accepted at an Ivy League school. You sir, are my savior!

OUTSTANDING

This book really typifies the (undeserved) arrogance of Duke, their students and alumni. Kudos to the author.
