I got this book from the library, and it is so popular that it cannot be renewed via the phone. It is just so cute - it is about a little girl who has a special secret between her and her grandparents. Jenny, the girl says okay when her parents tell her not to be too loud at her grandparents house but to be quiet. But, as she's going there, she thinks, "but my parents don't know what Granny and Grandpa and I do." She arrives and talks about all the things that are special to her at her grandparents house. How her grandpa always wants to make the cat a house outside and how her grandmother says no. But it's when they dance after she's had her bath that is really cute. She puts on her red pajamas and dances with her grandpa. Then Grandpa dances with grandma without any music. As she is going to bed, grandpa says, "thank you for a busy, noisy day." This book just really captures how much grandparents miss the days of their youth and their children's youth and it just makes you sad as an adult to read it. Kids don't pick up on that but it really makes you think after reading it. It's really a cute, cute book and well worth getting if you can find a copy. My little one just loves it so now I'm searching for a copy!
