One of the very best Kids' French Songbooks Ever!

Cabbages, hens and more oh my!

fun and educational

I Can Sing en Francais is fun and educational. The songs are a fun way to learn a new language because they have a nice melody and they deal with the basic words in French that beginners should know. Savez-Vous Planter Les Choux is my favorite song on the tape. The song lyrics in French and English are included in the book.

This one exceeded my expectations!

My 3 1/2 yr old daughter sings the songs while dancing with my 2 yr old as soon as I turn it on! It's a very pleasant listening and learning experience.

Catchy tunes make learning French fun!

My one year old LOVES this audio tape. The lyrics are sung by children in French, the book provides pictures and text which refer to the songs and build vocabulary. The lyrics are in French and English- I hope that I can find more books with audio tapes like this.

Catchy short songs hooked my four-year-old

My four-year-old daughter has insisted on this tape every time we get into the car for the last month. The reason? These short songs are an intelligent mix of catchy tunes that are sufficienty easy for her to sing yet diverse enough to hold even my interest (so far). The accompanying book not only has lyrics and translations, but more important for her, has pages of pictures (with French/English/transliteration) that illustrate the objects and actions in each song. The singing, by children, is well done with enough spontaneity so that she wants to sing along (OK me too sometimes) and clear enough to be useful. I should mention however that my six-year-old is less enthralled with this tape than her younger sister or her father.

good selection of french songs and music.

I liked these simple songs. The cassette was well done- nice singing - though the background music is a synthasizer- not real instraments. The words, pronunciation and pictures are clever and interesting for a child.
