Very detailed

I was cleaning out some of my childhood books from my parents' house recently when I came across this title. I remember absolutely loving this book when I was young and taking ballet class every week! The photos are beautiful, and the text is very thorough in its coverage of what the average dancer must endure to become a ballerina! I've always wondered what happened to those three students portrayed in the book. Did they go on to become dancers, actors, what? Finally, the cover photo (of a young girl en pointe in front of a fountain) was one of my favorite images as a child.
