Exciting Twists and Turns

Kate Angelo’s debut Love Inspired Suspense novel, Hunting the Witness, has so many twists and turns. I couldn’t put the book down! Belle and Jonah’s relationship was so sweet, and I loved how they used their trials to draw closer to God. I loved all of the side characters as well, especially Stella and her dog Oscar. The plot twists were amazing. I can’t wait to read more of Kate’s books in the future. I was provided a copy of the book from the author/publisher. I was not required to post a positive review, and all views and opinions are my own.

Good Suspense and a Sweet Romance

There are several plot twists in this novel that I definitely didn’t see coming, which made it a lot of fun to read. I may have had some inkling as to why the heroine was being hunted, but I was still surprised. Belinda Lewis is the heroine, and her character is smart, capable, and likable. She’s a quick thinker and didn’t need the hero to get her out of every jam. Yay, for that. The hero, Jonah Phillips, was an interesting character that had a few surprises to deal with during the story. He was a good guy and totally likable. Belinda and Jonah had good chemistry and worked as a couple. The faith element is subtle but powerful and nicely done. Hunting the Witness is a quick read, has good suspense, and a sweet romance. I received an advance reader copy for review, but I’ve pre-ordered the e-book.
