A RESEARCH GEM!

Baddeley demonstrates an impressive knowledge of memory research, and he communicates this knowledge using a very readable writing-style. This is an excellent book for anyone seeking a solid overview of this area.

A highly readable book

This book presents a highly readable summary of cognitive psychology as related to memory. Covering the evolution of theories of distinct types of memory, the interconnectedness of learning, knowledge and memory, as well as related topics, the connectionist approach to memory, the phenomenon of amnesia and other memory-problems, Baddeley manages to convey a feeling for historical and recent scientific research on the entire subject. Excellent references too :-
