Common Database Interface

Today Computer-based information technologies have been extensively used to help many organizations, private companies, and academic and education institutions manage their processes and information systems hereby become their nervous centre. The explosion of massive data sets created by businesses, science and governments necessitates intelligent and more powerful computing paradigms so that users can benefit from this data. Therefore most new-generation database applications demand intelligent information management to enhance efficient interactions between database and the users. So, our aim is to develop an enhanced engine that will help us to provide an environment where an expert user as well as a non-expert user will be able to write and execute the database queries with ease and efficiency and without the proper knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language), which is the basic language to interact with the database server. The aim of our project is to make a non-expert user to access the database without the prior knowledge of SQL and to provide an easy interface to expert user also, so that it will also get an easy way to interact with database and doesn't need to remember the syntax of commonly used queries to interact with the database. This enhanced engine provides access to users based on the credential User-Id and password. When access is granted, the user can use this enhanced engine to manipulate its database. This enhanced engine allows common users to only retrieve the information from database using a natural language (English) and to the database administrator all the interfaces are available which will help it to manage, modify and update its database with ease.
