Cue the bodies piling up!

I liked most of this book but it earned itself only three stars because of that ending which is very abrupt and shocking and not good. Plus it did not resolve anything! I like my scary, slasher, horror books and movies to have a better ending than that. I mean, what is the point of going back in time to save your sister from being murdered and turning it out like that? I was good with most of the story. It had a good premise with the murder of Claire right at the beginning and then a year later, right before the trial of Owen (the supposed murderer), Alice meets look a like Sidney Prescott and is given a change to change things and possibly save her sister, if she can figure out the truth before midnight. Cue the dead bodies that keep piling up and suspects right and left. I was good for that part and I did guess the twist but then it went off the rails too much for me. I will say, the cover is awesome though and it was a fast read.
