Men are so lucky

WOW.....reviewer #1 (tampa reader) totally and completely missed the entire point of this book. Did you actually think this was a man(ual)? If you spent a moment off the soapbox, you might actually see that this was a funny, lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek take on a serious subject. Who wants to read another "Dr. Phil" book about the complexities of living togther? We all know that it is a complicated move forward in a relationship, but does it always have to be so serious? According to Tampa reader, it does. Too bad, because the recipe for Sausage Lasagna is one of the best in the world. As always, Ms. Worick's sassy sense of humor is an uplifting and frequently Laugh-out-loud moment in these days when things are far too grave. Loved it!

This book IS a joke!

I was given this book a month ago or so and it totally cracked me up! I love the tongue-in-cheek way that it approaches the fine art of co-habitation and the jokey way that it offers advice. The fabulous coloured old-fashioned images are just a bonus and give it a Bewitched, Leave it to Beaver kind of feel - all those old households where you knew it was Mom that was in charge... This great book is also full of practical advice - things to consider when you are moving in together such as finding a place to live that you can both feel comfortable in, how to handle joining your bank accounts, how not to send each other crazy living in each others pockets and space. And that's just for starters! If you've ever wanted to put your man first in your relationship and learn to build a long partnership that weathers the test of time, I totally recommend this book.
