This was a very well written book that examines performance from a purely behavioral standpoint. Mind you, it was written more than 20 years ago, and it seems a bit dated. However its core concepts are still very sound if you are considering how to change employee behaviors. One caveat: this book has a very strong behavioral bias. If you are of a humanistic bent, its outlook will wear on you after a while.
