Very sad! Book is missing...

I so looked forward to presenting this to one of the world's preeminent experts on German drinking vessels. I ordered it well before his birthday, and was overjoyed when it checked into the local postal depot. There the story ended; for the professionals misplaced it after scanning it in Unfortunately, no amount of "investigation" has turned it up. Since a replacement is not currently available, I will just have to wait for the future opportunity to acquire this "classic."
