Each bad dream has a secret solution to reducing the Big Scary Monster, Dragon or Whatever to a not-at-all, scary creature. The author writes with a fun poetic cadence and the full-color illustrations are carefully and beautifully drawn to show the Monsters as what they really are, imaginary. This is a good talking-point book to have if your Child has nightmares or just a fun, silly book to read together.
