wow it rocks!

I got this book in sixth grade and it has healped me so much I can't even begin to describe it.This book is good for beginners. Also its a great referance book too!how to draw more manga covers BODIES HEADS CLOTHING EYES POSES FIGHTING AND EVEN ANIMALS. so if you are beginning to draw manga BUY HOW TO DRAW MORE MANGA it will help a lot (my teacher told me a lot is two words!)

An Awesome Start

I bought this book a few months ago and now any of my drawings look so much better. Katy coope definetly knows what she's doing with this stuff. I usually try to use my own style (similer to the kind in this book...) when I draw my characters and that's the only way that you'll be able to actually sell a manga or comic book if you make one. I have another how to draw manga book but, doesn't give very in depth information on how to draw people. I recomend this book to beginners and intermediate manga artists. Two kids that I know have "How to Draw More Manga" and they draw really well.

Possibly best manga book for kids

If you're a kid who wants to draw realistic manga and wants to do it fast, this is the book for you. Katy Coope gives you step-by-step instructions, but lets you wander a little and copy off of some other pictures.

An Excellent Guide For Young Artists!

This book in NO way deserves the bad feedback that it gets. I think that people often forget that it's for young artists. Children. Of course 20 year olds can't learn from this book, but a 1 year old certainly can. The directions are friendly and simple and include helpful tools like drawing joints and hands, the artwork is colorful and easy to mimic, and it leaves the young artist with a sense of accomplishment when their art actually looks like the art in the book. So in short, it's not for older artists. But for children (or adults like myself who like to reference from time to time), it is the best art book that I have found.

EXCELENT!!! =D

I ordered this book pretty much blindly a year or so ago, and I loved it! it explaines everything step by step, from drawing eyes to faces and bodies. I would recomend it for higher elementary school and lower middle school people, basicly for beginers who don't know anything about manga. I have gotten several of my friends hooked, and suddently my drawings (including non-manga) are looking A-LOT better.
