This Book Is AWESOME!

This book was a great guide for me and i just started making manga. the book is easy to read and i finished it in 3 days. the only thing i had trouble with was finding the pens, so i ordered the deluxe kit, that brought the special editon of how to draw manga, tone sheets, manga mastering tools, pen nibs, and pen bodies! Now I can draw good manga!

GREAT book

This book is great! It's not one of the step-by-step guide kinda types, but it goes very in-depth about different inking pens, toning, backgrounds, ect. It's a bit complicated for very new artists, but, it could turn you from a new artist to a manga master! ~_^ it's helped me out alot

Gets you started on a career

its perfect its very helpful indeed its never let me down before. with the best manga artist to help you will never feel like you bad at manga with full detailed pages on How to Draw manga they help you with step by step instructions and little by little progress to over things they don't just throw stuff at you its kind of like and intro to manga its the best book ever

good for beginners, good for reference

This book covers an introduction to the instruments of the trade, perspective, faces, inking, and anatomy, also borders. If you're a beginner, (like me), you may find it useful as an introduction and encouragement. Also, don't avoid the "how many heads tall" section, just because it's boring. Yes, it's boring, but I found it immensely helpful once I broke down and read it.There are lots of drawings to illustrate what they're talking about, and question and answer pages at the back of most chapters. My one complaint would be that most of the drawing are of females. It seemed like they didn't have quite enough reference drawings for drawing men. But, all in all, a good book.If you're interested in drawing manga style stuff, this is a good, basic book to start with.

Good way to get started!

This is a really good book for the beginners. A lot of pictures and techniques and tips on how to draw Manga better. It also gives you an idea of how to create comics. All in all I thought it was very informative and helpful. For those who want to learn to draw Manga and are just getting started this is the book for you.
