Bruce McMillan's HOW THE LADIES STOPPED THE WIND tells of windy Iceland and village ladies who set out to stop the wind so they can go for a walk. Hungry sheep have other plans, however - and the singing ladies may be thwarted in their magic. Picturebook collections specializing in multicultural tales will find this a different, fun story.
